This holiday season, you can help a local family in need through CPCD’s Adopt-A-Family program. Many families enrolled in our programs do not have the resources to provide a gift for their child or a special dinner. Others struggle to provide basic necessities, such as coats, boots, and warm winter clothing.

We invite you and your friends, family, or co-workers to get together and “adopt” one of CPCD’s neediest families. Your generosity will help give a family a holiday they will remember forever.

Beginning November 1, those interested in participating, can simply click the Adopt-A-Family link in order to register. Once registered, donors will be able to view families’ profiles and select a family or families for “adoption”. After selecting a family to adopt, donors will be given the family’s Needs List and instructions for packaging and delivering donations.

In addition to adopting a family, donors may purchase utility vouchers, car seats, holiday food baskets, or make a simple on-line donation to support a selected family.
