Now is the time to educate the child!

What a child learns and experiences from the day they are born until the day they enter kindergarten directly impacts their success in school and in life.  These experiences set the stage as development occurs rapidly and dynamically during the early years of life.  Now is the time to provide and support comprehensive early care and education with family support for our community's youngest children.

The clock keeps ticking through rapid and dynamic development in the early years of life.  Experiences during the ages zero to five set the stage for the child's future.  High quality early care and education nurtures and stimulates children as they build confidence and critical capacities to thrive .

The core programs of Community Partnership for Child Development follow the latest research-based techniques to assure that children and families receive the highest quality services available.  Head Start, Early Head Start and the Colorado Preschool and Kindergarten Program all under CPCD serve 1,600 children and their families annually.

Looking To The Future

Looking To The Future

Just 18-months-old, Malena can already count to five, and her speech and motor skills continue to develop rapidly. Her mother, Crystal, is very proud and credits both herself and Early Head Start (EHS) for her daughter’s progress.  “Early Head Start is helping Malena learn because the daily activities are age appropriate and the staff really pay attention to her individual needs,” Crystal says.
