CPCD offers free, comprehensive preschool and family programs that offer a broad range of services for children in low-income families and children with special needs and their families.

Classroom activities are interactive and age appropriate, and all children receive medical and dental screenings and nutrition guidance. Families may participate in parenting workshops, a variety of literacy classes, and in their child’s classroom as a volunteer. Affordable Early Head Start and Head Start with child care is also available. Transportation may also be available.

CPCD is currently enrolling children and families in its FREE programs. We also offer affordable year-round childcare combined with Head Start or Early Head Start. Convenient One-Stop-Shops and Neighborhood Enrollment Events allow families to enroll in CPCD programs and take care of pre-enrollment requirements. Schedules and locations vary. An Enrollment Office is also located at CPCD Central Offices, 2330 Robinson Street, Colorado Springs. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Enroll for the 2007-2008 school year programs. No appointment is necessary.
