Head Start Students at Falcon Elementary Get a New Playground

May 7, 2010 - Students in the Head Start classroom at Falcon Elementary cut the ribbon to kick off the opening of their new playground. CPCD and the District 49 Facilities worked together on the project that will allow over 30 CPCD students to have a new and safe place to play. The construction of the playground began in September 2009.

Before the ribbon cutting ceremony, district administrators and school staff took a ride on a special “Get on the Bus” tour. The tour allowed guests to learn more about the families CPCD serves and how the program in Falcon, Colo. helps them.
