Vacation Time

At CPCD, we value the importance of rest and rejuvenation for our employees. In addition to the four weeks off for school breaks per year, eligible team members also receive vacation time to use at their discretion. Whether it's for a well-deserved long weekend or an extended vacation, this additional benefit ensures that our employees can enjoy their time away from work with peace of mind, knowing they will be compensated. We prioritize providing flexibility and support to our staff, allowing them to recharge and return to work refreshed and motivated.

Sick Time

We prioritize the health and well-being of our full-time employees and their families. From the first day of employment, full-time staff begin accruing sick time. This accrued sick time can be utilized in instances of personal illness or to care for an immediate family member who is unwell. We believe in providing comprehensive support to our employees, ensuring they have the flexibility and resources needed to prioritize their health and the well-being of their loved ones.

Health Benefits

CPCD offers a diverse range of benefit options tailored to meet the needs of both employees and their families. Whether an employee requires coverage solely for themselves or for their entire family, CPCD's benefits are designed to address and fulfill their unique requirements.

Medical

CPCD’s medical plan features an extensive network of doctors, hospitals, and other healthcare providers who offer services at discounted rates. By using this network, employees can access the highest level of benefits at the lowest personal cost. The cost of these optional benefits is shared between employees and CPCD.

Dental

Staying healthy includes obtaining quality dental care for you and your family. CPCD’s dental plan provides access to an extensive network of providers and offers flexibility based on where you choose to receive care. The cost of these optional benefits is shared between employees and CPCD.

Vision

Vision coverage is offered to help you pay for routine vision services and supplies. Employees can choose any vision provider, but significant savings are available when using our designated vision provider.

Employer Paid Benefits

The following Employer Paid Benefits are provided as a thank you for the hard work and dedication of CPCD employees. Employees classified as "Full Time" and working a minimum of 25 hours per week will receive these benefits at no cost to them.

Basic Life and AD&D

The loss of a loved one is extremely difficult, which is why CPCD provides full-time employees with group life and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance at no cost. This benefit offers 1.5 times the employee's annual salary, up to a maximum of $150,000, to the designated beneficiary.

Long Term Disability

Long-term disability (LTD) benefits may be provided to an employee if they meet the plan’s definition of disability and loss of income requirements for the required time period. CPCD pays for this benefit on behalf of their employees.

Additional Benefits

In addition to our extensive list of employee benefits, CPCD also offers a variety of additional benefits that employees may choose to participate in.

Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

A FSA allows individuals to use pre-tax dollars for health care or child/dependent care expenses not covered by insurance plans.  Participants contribute a portion of their paychecks to a FSA and save 25% to 40% in taxes.  Money in a FSA can be used to pay for out-of-pocket medical expenses or dependent care expenses.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The mission of the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is to contribute to a healthier work environment by assisting individuals and families with personal problems and consulting with management and supervisors regarding individual and group concerns within the workplace. Experienced and professional staff are available to help resolve a broad range of personal, work, family, and relationship issues. All employees and their immediate families are eligible for up to 6 visits per calendar year at no cost, and the service is 100% confidential!

Tuition Assistance

Tuition Assistance covers tuition costs, books and fees up to certain limits to cover job related courses. Employees may also be eligible for scholarships and loan forgiveness opportunities as an additional benefit of working for a Head Start program.

401(K) and Profit Sharing

Employees can start saving for retirement by electing to contribute to our 401(k) program with either pre or post tax dollars.  In addition, eligible employees may receive discretionary profit-sharing contributions from CPCD.
